Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa

This is a lovely spa hotel within walking distance of Torquay harbour and marina. It’s up a steep hill though but the view from the terrace is good. There is a brasserie serving small plates and main meals. These are excellent quality although the menu is relatively small. The spa has excellent facilities and offers treatments which are discounted if you are a resident in the hotel. Our room was a good size with air con. There en suite was spacious with a bath and walk in shower. The bed was large with quality covers and was very comfortable. Staff were all more than helpful and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

We stayed as an early Valentine's present to ourselves and we absolutely loved it. The spa was beautiful and so clean! I had a facial and head massage and felt like I was on cloud nine! The staff were wonderful, from arrival to departure they really looked after us. And the room was cosy and clean. Food delicious, service fantastic, spa lush, what more can I say! Perfect location for a weekend Spa trip to Torquay. Great rooms, increadable food and great service. Only downside was the Spa was very busy at times with nowhere to sit and over crowding of facilities. Over all a great stay and highly recommended.

Lovely hotel and we had a great stay. The spa was beautiful, with a great variety of experiences - sauna, steam room, ice room, etc. Great location, 5 minute walk to the quay front. Found the room and bathroom quite small, and the bed comfort was average. Drinks were quite pricey but I guess that's to be expected at a spa hotel! Overall a great stay and would stay here again.

I visit here regularly through the year, mainly for spa, spa treatments and for food. Always receive attentive, friendly service. Food and drink is of high standards. The spa is one of the nicest I've visited, the spa staff are welcoming and I can highly recommend treatments here. Its a beautiful hotel with great facilities whether you're visiting with friends, a group or partner.

⭐⭐⭐ Review of Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa My wife and I recently returned to Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa — a place that holds special meaning for us, as we spent our honeymoon here 35 years ago. It felt only right to come back, just the two of us, and I’m glad we did. The spa is absolutely fantastic — genuinely five-star in my view. It has everything you’d expect and more: steam rooms, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and excellent facilities throughout. Clean, relaxing, and very well maintained. You really can’t fault it. The hotel itself is lovely. Comfortable, welcoming, and well run. The staff were professional and friendly, and a special mention must go to Grace, who was particularly kind, attentive, and helpful during dinner — a real credit to the hotel. The rooms were excellent: spacious, comfortable, and very well presented. The only small point I’d mention is that daily hoovering would have been appreciated, but honestly, that’s a minor detail in an otherwise very enjoyable stay. Torquay is admittedly a long journey from London, but we weren’t there for convenience — we were there for a reason. For a relaxing break, a special occasion, or simply to switch off, Lincombe Hall is well worth the trip and excellent value for money. All in all, a solid four-star hotel with a five-star spa, and somewhere I would happily recommend to others. Paul

What a lovely hotel, there is nothing to complain about at all. The staff were so friendly and helpful, our room (Signature) was nice and spacious. The food was great and plenty of it, with a good selection to choose from. Also a good drinks menu at reasonable prices. The spa was also lovely. This was just a one night stay for us, but we are already planning a 2 night stay in the near future.
